"Perfect Stay @ The Hawthorns"
We had a 2 night stay at The Hawthorns. This was at the start of a week long Scottish road trip. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The house is wonderful and great care and attention to detail makes it a very comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of Drymen but there is still plenty to see and do. A short walk to some lively pubs serving great food. The location is very near to Loch Lomond and easy to get to some great walking facilities. Read less

Thank you very much for your review Paul. It is really nice for us to know that our guests have enjoyed their stay and felt comfortable and relaxed at The Hawthorns. It is a very peaceful place and everyone feels like they have had a proper rest when they stay here. We do have the best of both worlds, as Drymen is a lovely wee village, but there is lots to do all around and we are only 30 mins from Stirling and Glasgow. Delighted that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon.

"Fantastic Family Friendly B&B"
The Hawthorns was the perfect place for us to stay for the weekend while visiting the local area. The owners we extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The family room was ideal, as it was 2 rooms in one, with twin beds in one room and a double in the other. There were games and dvd's to keep our son entertained and free wifi. The breakfasts were to die for!
I'd recommend The Hawthorns to anyone staying in Drymen. Read less

All breakfasts are cooked to order with the best ingredients so that they are as fresh and tasty as possible. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again. The Hawthorns is lovely accommodation set in a lovely spot. As a single female guest I felt very comfortable and safe there. The hosts have given a lot of thought to what their customers want and have added some nice extra touches such as a combination tv/dvd player in the room and access to a good selection of dvds.It was immaculately clean and the breakfast was fantastic.
